OUR STORY
The idea of setting up an editorial services company was hatched over several rounds of Scrabble on our bed. No other company in the Philippines at the time specialized in writing (at least, none that we knew). And we thought this is what we do best.
So with a secondhand Power Macintosh and a $500-slot machine "jackpot," we gave birth to our baby on November 6, 2002. We named it Writers Edge to instantly communicate the uniqueness of what we do.

SHEILA SAMONTE-PESAYCO
Sheila worked as an advertising copywriter, public relations associate, newspaper reporter and editor, investigative journalist, senior lecturer, and communications consultant before setting up Writers Edge in 2002.
She has won several awards for her beat coverage and investigative stories, and continues to reap recognition for various client projects.
